Lezyne built the Matrix levers out of Delrin 100, which is a high density polymer. This material is perfect for tire levers because of its stiff, strong, and lightweight composition. This means that, when you have a stubborn tire, you´re able to lean into these levers with the confidence that they´re up to the task. Better yet, they have hooks on both ends, which means that you won´t be fumbling with the lever if you need to change a flat when time is of the essence. Additionally, the dual hooks provide an added degree of protection in the event that one of the hooks snaps off when wrestling with a particularly stubborn tire. These come in packs of two, and they´re held together by a rubber sheath. So, they´ll stay together in your saddle bag or your pocket.
