When our weekend calls for a fast-moving day hike on Saturday, and then a mountain bike ride on Sunday, we pull on the lightweight and versatile Osprey Talon 11 Backpack. The Talon 11 offers room for trail maps and a rain shell, as well as bike tools and a spare tube in the front zippered pocket. The mesh-covered padded shoulder straps and hip-belt comfortably hug our torso, while a sternum strap keeps the backpack from shifting side-to-side while we´re scrambling up big rocks or carving through singletrack turns.
