Why We Like The DAKINE Phoenix Gore-Tex Mitten

When the weather is almost as gnarly as the powder, we pull on the DAKINE Phoenix GORE-TEX Mitten and own the mountain. These mitts are made to withstand the worst that Mother Nature can dish out with an insulated outer mitten made with GORE-TEX Infinium for wind and water resistance. Inside that outer soft shell, the Phoenix features a removable performance liner with a GORE-TEX insert to add breathable waterproofing as well as PrimaLoft Gold insulation, which insulates when wet while delivering the same warmth-to-weight as 750-fill power down. These premium materials let us mix and max layers to regulate our temperature and adjust to changing weather and activity levels as we´re skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, or snowmobiling.
