Made to carry moderate to heavy loads, the Deuter Guide 44 + 8L Backpack is built to carry everything a mountaineer or climber needs to scale a summit. The Alpine Back System carries our load close to our body´s center of gravity to maintain our balance while the Vari-Flex hip fins move with us to maintain our agility as we climb, hike, or ski. The S-shaped shoulder straps have an ergonomic fit with adjustable stabilizer straps on the shoulders and hip fins to fine tune our fit. We have easy access to our gear, thanks to a J-shaped front zipper that opens to the main compartment, a convenient hip-belt pocket, and external attachments for our rope, goggles, trekking poles, and ice axe. The Guide also features a stowable rope strap, an adjustable sternum strap with signal whistle, and a removable lid that provides another 8 liters of storage.
