For hot-weather rides where we can´t sacrifice the safety net of a chamois short, we opt for this essential package: the Backcountry Slickrock 9in Bike Short + MTB Liner. Our Slickrock shorts provide the lightweight breathability we crave in the high heat of summer, and the MTB Liner ensures impact-absorbing comfort without adding bulk or increasing our body temperature. Because these shorts were made for each other, they layer comfortably and provide the stay-put fit we need for intense climbs, lengthy trail sections, and groovy descents. Sunshine and summer go hand-in-hand, so we built these shorts with UPF 50+ protection, plus a PFC-free DWR treatment for when the weather takes a turn.
